One of the most spectacular boneyard beaches lies at the south end of Hunting Island State Park, SC. Accessible via an 0.7 mile hike along a trail from the Nature Center, the broad beach is littered with numerous large and dramatic fallen tree skeletons. Until 2018, an abandoned cabin, Little Blue, stood on pilings in the ocean, adding mystery to the location. There is an entry fee for use of the park.
